Management
Mikko Andersson
Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Andersson holds Master’s degrees in Engineering Physics (Royal Institute of Technology) and Business & Economics specializing in Finance (Stockholm School of Economics), and studied theoretical physics at ETH Zürich. With over 20 years in regulated industries, he has founded and been the CEO of multiple companies including a financial software firm, a hedge fund, a proprietary trading firm, an e-pharmacy, and co-founded a chemical Regtech company.
Björn Westberg
Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Westberg holds a Master of Science degree in Industrial Economics from Linköping University. Experience includes more than 20 years as CFO in listed companies, within IT/Tech and Life Science, including Enea, Jeeves, Recipharm and Bonesupport.
Björn Thornquist
Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Co-founder of Scila AB
Thornquist holds a Medical Degree (MD) from Karolinska Institutet. Thornquist has also studied at the Master of Science Engineering Physics program at the Royal Institute of Technology and Economics at Stockholm University. Experience includes working for Cinnober, HiQ and Strikt Financial Engineering.
Lars Gräns Rodhe
Chief Revenue Officer (CRO)
Gräns Rodhe holds a Master’s degree in Business and Economics from Uppsala University. Experience includes working for the Royal Bank of Scotland, PwC (Financial Services), MTF Burgundy and Vattenfall.
Mattias Sjöblom
Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Sjöblom holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg. Experience includes working for Nordea Bank, the Swedish Tax Agency and Capgemini, within software development and Regtech initiatives.
Gustaf Gräns
Chief Product Officer (CPO)
Gräns holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and has completed studies in Economics, both from Uppsala University. With a long career at Scila spanning nearly two decades, his tenure includes extensive experience in technical product development and customer delivery, including close collaboration with clients such as Deutsche Börse, Erste Group Bank, and Glencore.

Tomas Franzén holds a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and Management from Linköping University. He possesses extensive executive experience, having previously served as the CEO of Bonnier AB, Com Hem AB, Eniro AB, Song Networks Holding AB and AU-System AB. Furthermore, his current board assignments include serving as Chairman of the Board for Pamica Group, Elajo Invest, Tieto Corporation, and Dustin Group as well as being a Board Member for Axel Johnson, Martin & Servera, Liljedahl Group, and Hydroscand Group.
Maria Hedengren
Board member and Chairman of the Audit Committee, Board Professional and Senior Advisor, Venture Partner at Eight Roads
Maria Hedengren holds an education in Business Administration from the School of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Gothenburg. She possesses 30 years of experience in executive leadership within international tech companies, encompassing ventures from startups and scale-ups to more mature, publicly traded entities. Hedengren previously served as CEO at Readly AB (publ), with responsibilities including the company’s IPO, and as CFO at iZettle and NetEnt.
Bo Ax:son Johnson
Board member and Chairman of the Remuneration Committee, Investment Director at AB Max Sievert
Bo Ax:son Johnson holds a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and Management from Linköping University of Technology. Previously he spent several years in China, developing and investing in smaller companies across various industries as well a consultant for Elekta and as a partner at a boutique corporate finance firm primarily serving Asian clients. Prior to this he worked with M&A advisory at the global investment bank Lazard.
Christian Tegenmark
Board member, Investment Director at AB Max Sievert. Chairman of Akind, Board member of Regin and Viken Group.
Christian Tegenmark holds a Master’s degree from the School of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Gothenburg. Previous professional experience includes Segulah and PwC.
Michel André
Board Member, Senior Executive Advisor at Banking Circle
Michel André holds an MSc in Computer Science from Royal Institute of Technology and has completed executive education at Stanford Graduate School of Business. He currently serves as Senior Executive Advisor at Banking Circle, having previously scaled its global payments platform as CIO. With over 30 years of experience in financial technology and capital markets, including serving as CTO of Saxo Bank and senior roles at OMX, NeoNet, Swedbank Markets, Nordea Markets, and the Stockholm Stock Exchange, he specializes in building scalable, high-performance systems for trading and market infrastructure in regulated environments.
